Reimagining the Role of Technology in Education in India in 2018

Education which now has become fundamental right was not easily available in India; and that is not just centric to India. Even greater part of the world faces the same problem where education is still a distant dream for some people. Technology has emerged as a tool to combat this problem. Along with the digital revolution, emerging technology in education has addressed the non-availability problem to a greater extent. Generally, India had not adopted technology in education before but with the increase in the broadband connectivity, low cost availability of computers and mobiles, there has been an upgrade in the Indian education system. Literacy is the base of the economy growth and India is known as one of the top education system. This paper studies the ways the technology has helped the education and the actual impact it has madeand how technology has become important in the education system in India.Downloads
